Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) are an ideal destination for yacht charters, with forty islands and cays dotting the Atlantic Ocean, of which, only eight are inhabited.

Because of the limestone plateaus of the Turks Bank which drop off to deep waterways, you might catch sight of humpback whales, spotted eagle and mantra rays, dolphins, as well as sea turtles. In fact, the annual migration of the humpback whales occurs beginning in December through April, treating divers with a beautiful chorus of whales’ songs.

The marshes and salt ponds provide refuge for a variety of local and migratory birds, including great blue herons, flamingos, osprey, pelicans, egrets, and more. The Turks Island Iguana can be found along many of the deserted islands. This creature, along with the many nesting birds, is protected by the National Parks system.
