Come Explore the Exuma Islands!

The Exumas are some of the prettiest islands in The Bahamas.

The Exumas are a 120-mile-long island chain-within-the-chain of the Out Islands, with the Exuma Cays scattered in a long line extending from Great Exuma north toward New Providence. The Cays are the most exotic of the Out Islands, a collection of tiny jewels set in the aquamarine and sapphire of the most beautiful water you have ever imagined.

The islands are a popular spot for yachting, sailing, diving, and coral reef and cave exploring and the cruising grounds around the Exumas Cays are among the finest in the Western Hemisphere - if not the world - for boating.

Day 1:  You'll arrive at the Nassau Airport, where you will be greeted by members of your crew.  It's a short ride by taxi, over a bridge, to Paradise Island.  Here, your luxury yacht awaits your arrival - docked at the exclusive Atlantis Resort and Marina. Spend the day and evening enjoying the many diversions of this world-class resort (from full casino gambling, to the themed waterpark, to the giant aquariums and lagoons).

Day 2:  Say goodbye to civilization and crowds, as we leave Nassau and set a course for the out-islands of the Exumas.  We'll arrive at Norman's Cay in time for lunch. After lunch there will be plenty of time to snorkel around the nearby plane wreck. Experience the wonderful island atmosphere with an al-fresco dinner on the yacht's aft deck, at anchor in the cove at Big Major's Spot.

Day 3:  After a leisurely breakfast, you'll arrive at Thunder Ball Grotto, made famous in the 1960's in the Jams Bond film, Thunderball. The snorkeling is so beautiful here, you will easily imagine yourself swimming in a giant aquarium. From here, it is on to Sandy Cay where a picnic lunch will be served on the beach.  The crew will set up some lounge chairs, placed in the shallow water, for the ultimate picnic in the water!   You can play off your lunch by participating in an underwater treasure hunt with the crew (or perhaps now is the time to check out the exercise equipment onboard your yacht).

Day 4:  Start your morning by snorkeling the amazing Blue Hole. From the depths of the hole, thousands of tiny reef fish will swim, full-speed, right up to your face, then dart away at the last second.  Then, it's out of the water for a leisurely lunch while lying at.

There will be plenty of time after lunch, to go ashore and explore, followed by a quick ocean dip to cool off. Late in the day, we'll set out off for quaint Sampson Cay, just in time for dinner under the stars.

Day 5: This is a day you will remember forever. Wardrick Wells will be our destination this morning.  Established as a Land and Sea Park in the mid-1980s, it is a true, Caribbean paradise, with hiking trails and fantastic snorkeling grottos. After an active morning, you'll enjoy a short cruise to nearby Fowl Cay, in time for lunch. Following lunch, it's off to explore the watery caves at Rocky Dondas. The day will conclude at anchor, off  Allen's Cay, the home of dozens of giant beach-dwelling iguanas.  Dinner discussions will surely be lively, as you discuss all you saw and did this special day!

Day 6 : You'll feel like Charles Darwin as you step ashore on Allen's Cay to interact with the iguanas. Later, your crew will hoist anchor and set off for Shroud Cay - another perfect spot for a beach picnic. Odds are great that you'll be the only people on this uninhabited island - an ideal place for exploring, as well as riding the waverunners through the mangroves and rivers on the island.

Day 7: As you cruise back to Paradise Island and the Atlantic Resort, this is the perfect time to relax ondeck with a good book, or just put he finishing touches on a week-long full body tan.  We'll be back to Atlantis with plenty of time to enjoy the giant aquarium, water slides, local island shops and, of course, take another hand at the casino.  After a full week of relaxing, indulging in incredible cuisine prepared by your personal Chef, snorkeling and exploring, you can return home refreshed and looking forward to your next charter adventure in the beautiful Exuma Islands!
