Crew Profiles: Captain Dennis Barbeau and his wife Vicki will be your hosts on the Diamond Girl II. Beginning with family vacation charters and years of yachting on their own personal sail boat they have thirty years of sailing experience.
Dennis has a degree in Civil Engineering and owned/operated a construction company. Following his dream he retired from the construction life, and pursued his love of the sea and sailing. His first mission was to help sail the Diamond Girl II from Genoa, Italy to the Bahamas.
An experienced sailor, with a USCG Captain’s license Dennis has sailed for more than 30 years. His love of sailing and notable sea tales makes him the perfect Captain for you adventures.
Vicki has a passion for cooking and entertaining. She has attended cooking schools in Nashville and trained with Executive Chef Michael Osborne. Spending the past two years touring and living in the Bahamas, Vicki has learned local Bahamian/Caribbean style cuisine. She offers freshly prepared Bahamian/Caribbean cuisine, and personal family favorite’s using the freshest produce available.
